I don't really have an update on running while locked, but I just ran my 50 miler and wanted to share that the slogan for the race was "It ain't for sissies". Ironic considering I've started to consider myself one recently.

Jeez, and I feel tired when I cycle for 50 miles.

Re: Distance Runners?
I know this is a year plus old thread, but I'm a runner training for a spring marathon and put in my first long run this past weekend which was an 8 miler wearing my cage which is an MCN Contender. It was about 30 degrees to boot. In the past I was let out of the cage for most runs, so it was a first over 4 miles. No issues, but I'm not real fond of caged running. I'm still interested if anyone has gone 10, 15+ miles caged or completed a marathon. Bottom line, if I hadn't been surfing some questionable video content this past week I would have been permitted to run uncaged anyway...
