You know what they say - three time's a charm!

I can honestly say there won't be a third time. Taking a loss on the first one was painful enough. However, the QK is an outstanding device and if I can get the sizing right this time, it will be great. If I can't wear a device for as long as my KH/spouse wishes, then it's no good to me. Since retiring, my spouse and I are together mostly 24/7. Our agreement requires that I wear the device at all times while at home, nighttime as well. At her request, it is removed when we go somewhere together. That is what she is comfortable with right now. Her actions so far lead me to suspect that my orgasms will be few and far between. My last chaste period was almost 2 months while we were waiting for the first device and for another week after it arrived. She hinted that the next one may be longer. She does not like the changes in my behavior after an orgasm. Being in my late 50's, longer periods are probably doable for me, but I doubt I could have done them as a younger man. I doubt she could have either! That's why, now, I must have a good, wearable device. I'll let everyone know whether that's what I have when this next one arrives.

An update on my second Queen's Keep. In a nutshell, it is absolutely perfect. I hardly even know it's there and even nighttime erections are not painful. I now realize that the larger cage not only makes the device more comfortable to wear and easier to clean, but more secure, as well. The larger cage means a smaller gap between the bottom of the cage and the bottom of the base ring. This results in a firmer "grip" on the ball sac holding the device in place much better. The new cage is 1/4 in longer and 1/4 in wider than my last QK. After several days and nights of repeated erection attempts, I now pretty much fill the new cage all the time, but do not bulge out the spaces between the bars. It is easy to clean and, when removed to leave home for the day with my spouse/KH, my shaft is not sore at all. I am very, very satisfied with this new device. Time permitting, I'll try to do a new topic covering my opinion on the sizing process for mature metal devices as a result of my experiences. BTW, the folks at Mature Metal have been very helpful throughout the process.
