Anyone had experience with this Steel timed lock box

I grabbed up one of these:
Vaydeer Metal Timed Lock Box (depending on which country you are in they are approx $45US off Amazon)

We were actually super surprised at this.

All metal, easy to set up and use. It has a 1 year timer max
The key thing here is that the timer is set and it counts down and the lock CANNOT be over written if you change your mind it has to count down before it opens!
As a fun addition the timer can be increased but not reduced......sounds like an interesting aspect on your last day and you see your key holder add another month just because they can !!

The box comes in 2 sizes...the small one is probably good for most caging needs

Thought I'd mention this one as it by far surpasses the kitchen safe in terms of security and price in my opinion

This should be an interesting option for any weekend self locking folks to any long term folks

I got one because real life had taken over my KH's attention for the last year or so.
Since I was still locking myself I needed to feel out of control again.
I was trying to figure out a way to remove the temptation of knocking out the clear plastic windows
or being bale to shake the loose keys from the phone/pad charging port on the side of the box.
I ended up getting a metal magnetic key holder box for hiding spare key on your car.
Now I put all the keys inside the smaller mag box and lock in the lock box, yes I know I can always force the box
open but that would only happen in a REAL emergency.
It works well.
I had been setting for a week at a time for about six weeks when KH mentioned my cage one night finding out I had locked
the keys away... from her as well. ( Also wasn't happy I had switched locks to use ones with different keys.)
I showed her the box and gave her the instruction manual noticing a few days later when it should have been unlocked it showed 3 more days.
Didn't think too much about it until three days later I checked again and it said 31 days remaining.
When I asked about it she giggled saying She had been resetting it to learn how it worked deciding since I had locked her property away from her
that I should just continue using it, sneering at me. I knew she wasn't happy with my decision to self play so I just agreed.
Thankfully I am wearing one that can be maintained for that long with no real issues, but she had no idea I had already been locked up
for over a month before she regained control, since I had just been resetting the box each week it only showed 7 days in the previous screen so she thinks it had only been a week.
About halfway through her reset and one evening she half heartedly mentions Locktober, saying We'll be pretty close
when you are able to get to the keys maybe WE will just reset it for that month as well.
I haven't looked at the box timer since and can't say anything because I'm not allowed to, but damn that be over four months locked
straight if she chooses to do that, what a way to get reacquainted with her KH holder duties, or a way to make it easier for her to ignore me
either way it might be an interesting few months.

But the box works well.

oohh...giving you an added month haha....I shouldnt chuckle at that - BUT I WILL haha (jk jk jk)

In a way, although the attitude may not be fully where you are dreaming from her reactions, in fairness your lady is using the lock box in exactly the way its intended. ie HER CHOICE not yours

Have a fun time with that and do let us know if she lets you get to the last day and adds more time !! Sounds like something you should keep us all up to date on in your journey. Im sure we are all waiting to find out how that goes.

FWIW, "Locktober" is regarded in our house as just another month....as well as NO-vember.....and DENIAL December....!

We haven't talked about it since last post, I snuck a look at the box few days ago and it showed 36 days remaining, I am not sure what she is using for her timing but that will put me past Locktober.
I don't want to bring it up because she could just reset for longer and forget about it again but at the same time it is starting to push six months locked with no attention in any other way.
I am not sure if NOvember and denial December is something I really want to experience in a row, yet.
I am glad she hasn't picked another cage yet, she used to pick one every other month when she held the key until I was in one that couldn't I make it that long forcing me to wait or beg to be allowed to change unit.
I did notice my full belt had been moved from where it was normally kept so I am not sure if she's planning something or not since last time I worked on the belt I proudly stated I thought it could be worn much longer than last time I tried it.
OOPS! LOL
I'm just glad I never told her that the particular unit I'm in right now can fit under the full belt, almost comfortably, tried it for about 8 hours being surprised by it being possible to wear both, talk about secure!

Well NOvember 4th and I'm still locked, I had hoped she was teasing but apparently she wasn't.
Box shows 21 more days, yes she has been tinkering with it again. Now will be spending November locked as well.
Had to do yearly exam with Doc two weeks ago, found out she had no intentions of allowing me to remove device for doc visit so had to decline full exam. The glans ring is behaving better than expected, no real issues this is first time wearing it for this length of time finding it is still very effective in restraining me completely. Even trying to stimulate it becomes uncomfortable pretty quickly, working as it should perfectly- YAY.
I believe the box has allowed her to be in control without having to think much about it maybe even relieving her self guilt about controlling me as she had commented about previously.
I do not think I want to go through December still locked, so I will be broaching the topic this week explaining I will need to at the very least change unit this month or I will be braking into the box one way or the other. I guess we'll see what happens sometimes I feel more desperate than I normally do, then I find I am more excited about remaining locked as long as it doesn't start having issues.

Kind of fun and worrisome at the same time, I do not want to be "shelved" but I have given her an easy way to lock and forget.
In a moment of desperation/self loathing? I have ordered another unit from BAW mostly like the one I am wearing but considerably smaller and much heavier, I am a true gluten.

I've been following along. If I pick it up correctly your other half in not overly happy but then indulges you in the caged life by being in control of your lock box count down.
Do you discuss/chat about the cage or lock box or control she has?

I'm just wondering as she IS INVESTED in your caged life otherwise she simply wouldn't involve herself in your play time and leave you to it....but she engages and adds time

Have you asked her why? (stupid question as Im sure you have) and what she gets from this. Whats her currency and payoff from this: it could be that she is enjoying the control but doesn't want to admit it to you or her....maybe she wants to be more in charge but feels guilty not doing those 'intimate partner things' and the lock box removes that guilt ....maybe she just being mean.....maybe she loves you and is giving you something that she doesn't understand but wants you to be happy

How do you think the dynamic is playing out? is it a positive or negative

Does your other half give you any loving attention in other ways? its just you used the phrase "I do not want to be shelved"

I'm not offended if you think this is too open a forum to respond but if you want to share it could be helpful.

So here's the thing....we have been using this lock box for a while in conjunction with an online random number calculator to input the number of days and now we are down to near the end date and I get nervous/excited.

Although she had added the odd day here and there she generally waits until the last day and in fact until I am firmly tied to the bed to reveal is she going to open to the box grab the cage keys, unlock me and let me cum hard....or not. I generally only get 2 days or so out of the cage before being locked down again.

The last two times she has let me cum in her mouth (my absolute all time fav thing to do!!) but they happened to be longer lockdowns; this lockdown time is 93 days of 100% caged time is fairly short for us (normally between 4 and 7 months). She has been telling me that she will decide at that moment whether she is going to let me have her mouth or if its a lame hand ruin or simply add more time?
She sends me texts with a picture of the duration left sometimes to tease me with comments like "maybe I'll extend it to Jan 1st just to start the year with a bang" or "can you picture me on my knees". She likes to play mind games to tease me for sure.

And this is where it gets fun/scary. She has said several times in tease now that she is thinking about changing the random number generator range from 90-185 days up to 200 - 365 days

Living life generally for a year never being able to touch myself or have her touch me....never having her mouth for even 1 second, I am not sure I can handle but if she does that its because she wants to do that !!

I will let you all know how this pans out next week (my official unlock day is next saturday)....its going to be a fun day regardless !

We had a terrible late 23 through 2024, family sick, out of town, so lot of traveling then eventually deaths. Then the drama of family after parents dies etc. I have not pursued much attention, she was very close to her family, then normal life happens so we pulled away from any intimate times together. We are still very close just no play times. She had been enjoying the situation of me being caged and her in control even adapting wonderfully to being in charge of it.
Now she is slowly getting back into the right frame of mind, I think-hope, but everything seems to remind her of her family so I have talked to her when SHE brings it up and at least I know I'm in her thoughts- sometimes. I had been using the box covertly because I enjoy it and did not want to burden her and she understands that and I think enjoys teasing me, I hope, with using my purchase to continue to torment me.
I am worried that it makes it too easy for her to lock and forget leaving me kind of stuck. It's fun in a way, be careful what you ask for kind of way, but I am willing to wait for my lover, friend and keyholder to come back around and enjoy our play times together. I just wasn't ever planning on long term denial when we started and neither was she.
We will have to have a conversation soon because I really need to unlock and inspect and clean myself thoroughly, I have never worn this unit this long straight, I am impressed that with glans ring and tighter base ring it hasn't given me any issues. It is steel cage that allows it to be cleaned pretty good but again I feel I should at least do an inspection after this long.
I do not think she's being mean but I think she has been getting distracted a lot and forgetting what's going on and since we have never done this for this long I don't think she realizes what it means to leave me locked long term, BUT we WILL have that conversation soon, just as an FYI kind of thing for her. I am learning as well so I am torn but I miss my friend.

so an update:
My lock box count down ended on Nov16th and no release !!!....she had added a few days because of 'infractions' as she calls them (ie I had gotten out some satin panties one time for her to wear or her PVC dress to wear - she regards this as leading or pressuring)
but on Dec 1st she announced that she is keeping me locked down until JAN 1st - she said she is "giving me something small for xmas that I can't unwrap till NY" hmmmm. So it looks like Christmas is going to be a Denial December this year !

So the talk when she had told me this previously was that she was going to unlock me Jan 1st and suck and swallow as a NY kick off and then relock with the random number - but then just yesterday when we were chillin on the couch she said that because the lads are staying with us at the house over the holiday period she is going to wait until minimum Jan 7th now when we have the house back....but then she dropped the bomb at the end of that convo when she said she would actually do a short random number generator on Jan 1st to set be between 7 days and 31 days "just for fun".

So it looks like I still dont know when I will get to cum in her mouth again yet ....all I know is that it will be min of 199 days...up to 223 days (7 months 9 days if anyone is trying to figure that out haha) since the last time I enjoyed myself!!

which is scary because she had mentioned ages back that she wanted to extend the period for the random number generator to a min of 200 days so Im wondering if this is her way of saying - 'see if you can manage 7 months ....you can manage 12 months!!!!'

I will let you all know if I start the year with a bang (sorry couldn't resist the old standby Dad joke)
