I'm confused, too tight or too loose?

I can make it about four days in 24/7 chastity in my HolyTrainer v2. I always have to stop because of irritation on the bottom side of my testicles. I've tried lubing, and have tried applying lotion pretty frequently. Both help, but don't solve all my problems. I've been reading on here that most of the time people have irritation due to the ring being too loose. However, when I take my device off, the line going down the middle of the testicles (raphe or something) is swollen, making me thing the device is somehow still too tight. Any thoughts?

Sounds like the ring or gap are your problem. The ring should fit allowing only your index finger to the first knuckle under it. If the gap is too tight it can cause some of those issues as well.

Ahh, that is unfortunate. Can't really change the gap size on my HT v2. Thanks for the help.

dont use the hinge ring use solid i had same problem

I too find the whole thing confusing. Ring size and gap are two different animals that live in the same zoo.

For me, if the ring is too tight, every thing feels swollen or changes color, but if the gap is too tight, it mostly burns/chafes.

Increse size on either and something pops out. I've found 1/16 of an inch makes a difference and a LOT of patience.

I have noticed that even when not locked, if I am 'hanging out' of my briefs with the elastic band under the scrotum, discomfort will occur in this area. It is, of course, more pronounced with a device. As long as there is no skin abrasion or other actual physical damage I see it as nothing more than a minor inconvenience to which one must become accustomed.
