What to expect from over a year locked up?

Post by Happily caged »

Starting 25 January, we will be living more than half a continent and an ocean apart for at least a year.
I am currently locked into a CB6000 but will be switching to a Jail Bird from Mature Metal as soon as I receive it (probably within two weeks).

I have not gone more than a year without sex since before my marriage, and at that time I had to change the sheets and do the laundry often due to frequent wet dreams.
This will be the first time I will be going without sex for over a year in a chastity cage. If I understand correctly, wet dreams won't be possible in the Jail Bird because it doesn't allow an erection. Is that correct?
If it is correct, then how do I get a release? I have read of semenal dripping. Is that the release I should expect? How does that work out with keeping the underwear clean throughout the day?
Also, wet dreams helped to release sexual tension. Does dripping have a similar effect?
What about safety? Bolt cutters are always an option, plus I will keep the keys to the cage with me, albeit locked inside a portable security box which could be broken open by the right person in an emergency as an added back up if for whatever reason bolt cutters were not an option.
What else should I expect from a year locked up? Any other advice?
Sorry for all the questions, but I am relatively new to this.

Thanks.

It may be better to keep your keys in a combination safe rather than a keyed safe with those keys on another continent.

That said, there's likely not a reason to overthink or overplan the security aspect of it. It's not as though it's in your nature to be promiscuous based on your posts. A simple numbered plastic tag lock is sufficient to validate that you successfully saved yourself for her. Anything more than that should be evaluated against health risks. Yep, I understand the desire to be absolutely certain that security isn't in question and could write a good deal about the things I've made and used to try to make that happen. Truly, though, it's the amount of energy you devote to her that will define the meaningfulness of remaining chaste in her absence.

Thanks Her M.
You are right. Though she has warmed to the idea, she trusts me and is somewhat indifferent to it. I guess maybe I have just discovered a new fetish more than anything else. You did give some good ideas. We will reconsider the keyed security box.
Thanks.
