Finding the right size ring?

Post by shatteredreamer »

I got a CB6000S recently, and used the biggest size ring and it was fine, but waking up yesterday I found one of my balls had slipped through the belt in my sleep. It didn't seem good to leave it like this and was pretty easy to take out. The next size down I tried today but while "erect" my balls started to go a bit blue. Neither of these seem great, so any ideas on what i should do?

Getting a little blue while erect is normal as long as you are not in severe pain and they go back to normal color when you settle down. Rule of thumb is to be able to slip one finger comfortably between your body and the base ring. If it is too loose, go down one size. The ball slippage is caused from too much space between the base ring and the cage. Try to reduce it but don't go any less than 3/8". The CB series is good to mix and match base rings and spacers to dial in what works the best for you. Be patient and you will figure it out.

Being that you are new at this, your sac and nuts are going to feel like they are being crushed and ripped off your body from nocturnal erections. That is normal also and you will eventually adjust. It's very hard to believe what I am saying while you are experiencing these erections that seem to last forever for the first few times. The best thing you can do is get up, walk around a little and concentrate on peeing. The pressure off your bladder will help everything to back to normal.

Alright thanks, it hasnt hurt yet so should be ok then

I dont really get what different spacers do? Could you give a quick explanation if possible?

And I read about nighttime erections but I've slept in it a few days and havent been woke up yet, not sure how normal that is :P Thanks for your response though!

The spacers adjust the gap between the cage and the sack. You can use these to fine tune the fit.

For example; Start with a spacer that fits with the index finger to the first knuckle like grubber suggested.
Then you find what you think is the perfect ring/spacer for comfort, but your ball slips out. Try the next smaller spacer and see if this fixes the problem. If everything is still comfortable, try the next smaller spacer. If this causes discomfort then you know to go back up one and you have found the spacer for you.

I agree with grubber, though a 1/4" gap works definitely for me. Though that's with a larger ring. A smaller ring might need a 3/8" gap. I think it's really the minimum distance between the bottom of the base ring and the bottom of the cage that matters. You can have a smaller base ring and a larger gap.

I've tried every configuration of a CB6Ks (even with no spacer), and I can still slip my shaft out. My advice is to focus on comfort. Make it just secure enough not to slip out inadvertently.

I really enjoy the feel of my erection tugging on my balls, and my flesh pressed against the pre-cum slicked walls. For me, ensuring it is pleasurable to be locked, not a punishment, then it's easier to stay locked. I've slept unlocked and woke up early in the morning and wanting to get into the cage. It's those early mornings that are difficult.

I was on the manufacturers site the other day and noticed in the "parts" section that they are now making 2 larger sized base rings. I have similar issues, especially when cold, with a testicle that actually can pull up into my body. I'm thinking of ordering the largest ring (I have a fair bit of girth, especially at the base, and that can lead to raw skin when erect.) and going with a tight gap between the ring and the cage. That can also take some getting used to, but seems the best for long term comfort.
