comfortable device for sleeping

While I am waiting for my new steelworks crossfire to be delivered, I was thinking that it could be an option to request in the future a second device, with custom design, to be used only for sleeping.
I was inspired by this shape:

however, I was thinking something a bit different: for example, a base ring soldered with a 90degrees angle to a tube. The tube could be like this:

then a second cage to hold balls and avoid escaping.
Reason to have this would be to allow for full erection (with appropriate sizes) during night, and at the same time prevent stimulation. Especially it would avoid pushing the shaft downwords with a curve shape.
Problem could be urinating, but full belts I think have the same problem. Urinating during night, exceptionally, could be done in the shower.
Do you think it would work?

You might find it more of a hassle to change devices twice a day. That means you need access to the key, so presumably your keyholder would need to be available.

While sleeping in a chastity device can be somewhat uncomfortable, you'll probably get used to it. And maybe your keyholder will give you some nights off, even when she isn't using your cock?! Mine does, and with her right there, I don't play with it

Atone; I thought the very same thing about preventing access to the balls. I have wanted to try out something that does that.

As for keeping it on (or should I say, trying to get it on) it appears to me that the base ring is the one that is attached between the back of the ball cage and the top of the penis cage. This I believe would keep the device on me but I wouldn't try to get into my jeans wearing it.

Hey I currently have a cb6000 and am looking to upgrade to a jailbird. I did a lot of research on measuring and for the most part I think I have it right, but I do have one concern; When using the cb6000 I am stuck on the largest ring because during an erection my balls will turn purple if I use any other size, but when I'm flaccid the middle ring size feels comfortable. I don't know where to go from here. Please help.

In my experience, your balls are going to turn purple during an erection my hubby wears a ring size that's comfortable and holds the device in place... when he attempts to get hard, that's another story... it turns all kinds of colors lol

I wear the Bon4 and it is very comfortable to sleep in. Much nicer than my previous CB devices.
