I don't know how much a vasectomy costs. I've been sterilized for many years, so it's always been a non-issue in my relationships.

However, if male chastity is consistently practiced, it would be an extremely effective method of birth control. Perhaps it's not a birth control or population-limiting method of choice for everyone, but it's effective.

That's not *necessarily* true. Chastity could be an effective form of procration. For some couples, it is not about the denial, but the control. If the KH is priming the man for when the KH is most ready, that could result in some hot sex when ovulation rolls around, and then babies. The man won't be wasting any of that sperm.

But obviously total denial would be different.
