Confusion about ring size

Post by Linus »

I am locked up in jailbird steel cage. I received 3 rings - 40 mm, 45 mm & 50 mm with the cage. Since beginning I am using 50 mm ring. However in the last few days I noticed that as I am getting used to my device, my scrotum has softened, hence my device often slips down a little & so the balls come in-between the legs & get crushed.
As a temporary measure I have tied a shoe-lace around my waist & to the device, so it stays little lifted; making me comfortable. To overcome this slipping down problem I tried to install 45 mm ring, but it looked nearly impossible to install unless if try too hard.
My question is,
A] Will the smaller ring solve my problem?
B] suppose somehow I manage to install 45 mm ring, will it be even more painful during especially the night time erections? I can't wake up my wife in the middle of the night & ask for the keys!
A guidance from the jailbird users is requested!

It might not solve it but it will probably help. I would wear a much smaller ring for during the day If I could get through the night.

You might want to experiment with lube too. I use just a really, really small amount of hand lotion on the bottom of the scrotum in the morning so the ring can rotate a little without sticking. I then use a little bit more on the top of the thigh on one side (not sure why I only need it on one side) to keep the scrotum from sticking when I move around. Makes it easier to adjust if necessary.

Probably, depends on what is causing the pain. If it is "ball burn" it might not be any worse if the gap is still sufficiently large. You can have a smaller ring that has the same or even a larger gap. If you want to try it and cannot wake your wife up just be prepared to get up and get rid of the nocturnal erection by walking around for a bit and / or going to the bathroom. If it doesn't work out you may want to wait a while and try again. I recently went several nights with a smaller ring that I normally use. The first time I used it (several months ago) I had to get up to take it off. This time I was able to make it through the night. The first night was a little difficult and then it got a bit easier for the next several.

Pain can also be caused by 'folds' in the scrotum. Make sure no bits of skin are folded over underneath by pulling upward from the sides, close to the ring.

Dear Atone
By mistake I mentioned that I am locked in jailbird. I am using jailhouse with 3 rings. When I first used 50 mm ring, the device was quite tight fitting. However in the last one month's continuous lockup, its has become lose & has started slipping down a bit. Is it normal for everybody? If so, then I can safely shift to 45 mm ring. I tried to put on the 45 mm ring yesterday. It took me almost 15 minutes till my penis was completely flaccid. I had to first insert the scrotum & both the balls, & then finally the penis. I think I will shift to the 45 mm ring for tight fit all the time.

That sounds pretty typical of what most experience.

Dear Atone
Last night I finally shifted to the 45 mm ring. Putting my balls & penis through this ring was hell of a job. The nocturnal erections were really hard & painful at the scrotum. But the fitting is now perfect. Hope I will get used to it in a couple of days.

good luck with it, and go back to the other ring if you need to. There is no benefit of pushing it too far. You may be good for a couple of days and then need to go back. I have had to do that several times until I settled in on just the right combination.
