Sore balls not from chafing -- advice??

It really feels like blue balls PLUS the connecting plumbing to the boys. It goes down toward the front on either side of my unit. I think "fluid" is just backing up & swelling but man.... When it's bad it's bad. It only happens with extreme or continued arousal. If I was caged for a week with no play (which is when I'd cut the lock) I don't think I'd have any issues with pain.

I get that sort of thing sometimes when we're playing and I'm still caged, or if only the base ring is on. It can get so bad that I have to stop, and I have a fairly high pain tolerance. It didn't happen with the larger base rings, only as I adjusted to smaller rings, with the two smallest of the CB3k being the worst. I still can't wear the smallest ring for more than two days & nights.

The only solution [so far] is to reduce the arousal level, or if she wants to keep going the CD has to come off until she has been satisfied...apparently, she *did* discuss (with the sex-shop proprietor) the merits of of a CD with anti-arousal spikes but is not comfortable with that for full-time wear- just as punishment (for relatively short durations). One of her concerns is that my pain tolerance is high enough that damage can occur without necessarily causing a reduction in arousal.
