Hi everyone,
I'm sure I know everyone here has heard this before, but I have an issue finding the right device. Mistress and I have been looking for a new device. Currently we have a regular CB6k which does not fit correctly. We upgraded to the 2.25 ring but it's still very tight. I get some discoloration but more importantly we have been unable to keep me locked more than about 24 hours before pain gets to be too much.
Does anyone know of a device which has a comfortable ring fit but allows me to stay locked? Mistress wants a ring bigger than 2.25" but I think it's fine at 2 - 2.25 if it's not that hard plastic ring... it's very odd; I blame the ring design, not the size of the ring for the issue. I may be wrong, I'm not technical in those types of things for sure. I'd love to hear any advice you all have.

Re: Device Recommendation
The one thing I know is that it gets a little easier after a couple weeks. First started using the 2" ring and that was tight and I could barley get it locked but a couple months later I wear the 13/4" just fine. I don't have one but the Holy Trainer is quiet a bit different at there are plenty of reviews on here about it if you look around the forums.
Re: Device Recommendation
When you say you have discoloration... is that with regular flaccid wear of the device or ring itself out is that with an attempted erection?
If you can wear the ring without discomfort in your regular flaccid state and it stays against the body and balls don't slip out then it's the right size.
It's hard to offer device suggestions when I don't know what it is, exactly, that doesn't fit about your current device.

When wearing a CB6000s, the biggest source of discomfort for me is when there wasn't sufficient lubrication at the bottom of the ring (underside of scrotum). Are you sure the pain you're feeling isn't the 'burn' that people often talk about with the 6000?

As Lady M said, I think we need to know a bit more information to help you out.
In the beginning we pretty much all have "issues" getting adjusted since we are "excited" about this new adventure we are embarking on.
Maybe you are just having a problem with a plastic base ring and metal might be the answer. I would suggest going to your local hardware store and pick up a 2" & a 2 1/4" solid metal ring. Put yourself into them and wear it for a day or two. See what feels best keeping in mind you will probably have to use some lotion or lubrication on the underside of the ring like MikeyLikes describes. See how that feels without the pressure of an attempted erection wearing a cage.
Once you can nail down the size of the base ring then you will know what will work once you introduce the cage portion. You sill may have that "excited" adjustment period but once flaccid you should not be feeling much pain.
If you didn't want to do the hardware trip you could just order the sizing ring kit from Mature Metal.

Good luck

Re: Device Recommendation
Thanks everyone for the responses. I'm at work and typing on my phone so I'll do my best to answer and follow up at lunch. Basically, it's slightly discolored (a little darker) when flaccid and even darker when errect.
I had a hydroelectric a few years ago which prevented wear at all as my right testicle was 3 times it's normal size. Post surgery it's fine but Mistress worries that this device could cause that again as well

Now that I can type better; I do have mild discoloration all the time, a reddish/purple (it's not dark purple, just a darker color than my testicles normally are. Generally, I would say that this is due to a blood flow issue, but not sure. When I'm flaccid, it's the reddish/light purplish color, but it gets a much darker color if there is an erection.Lady M wrote:When you say you have discoloration... is that with regular flaccid wear of the device or ring itself out is that with an attempted erection?
OK, so I'll need to test this out some to make sure that it is the right size. I'll check it out tonight and comment later as to what exactly is going on. I'm not really comfy posting pics of my junk (not that anyone asked, just generalized statement)... so I'll do my best to describe it.Lady M wrote:If you can wear the ring without discomfort in your regular flaccid state and it stays against the body and balls don't slip out then it's the right size.
I totally agree, I was tired when I posted this, so I didn't do as well as I could have. For the record, the device is a CB 6000, normal length with the 2.25 ring, the short is too short and since I've split one before I was afraid to go smaller.Lady M wrote:It's hard to offer device suggestions when I don't know what it is, exactly, that doesn't fit about your current device.
It could be that it's a spacer issue as well, maybe bigger gap, or smaller gap, I'm not sure; I'm sure there are good posts as to what I should be wearing.
