Scratch that...Ive had a search on chrome plating.

Simply it will resist rust but only with care so if its cracked or damaged it can allow the Underline metal to rust over time...am i correct.

I've had chrome plated. It flakes off and then rusts. Avoid.

A couple of weeks. It was crap mate, I'd avoid anything that's plated.

Take a look at the devices on the DH Gate store (don't have a link handy, but search these forums). You'll find some inexpensive stainless steel devices, some quite similar to the one pictured.

Yeah ive actually found some on Ebay and they have made it clear that their ones are Stainless steel no chrome no plating.

I'm waiting for one to arrive, and will see if it really is stainless steel, "no chrome, no plating..." The price is cheap enough, but I'm beginning to suspect a mild allergy to nickel and/or chrome. Not a problem on my hands or elsewhere, but contact with sensitive skin in a warm, moist environment is a different matter.

Mine arrived, and it is indeed stainless steel, no chrome, no plating. Comments elsewhere in this forum.
