Steelworxx Ordering Time

I ordered a looker 02 from Steelworxx on May 7, and the order was received May 9. Dietmar said at that time it would be 8 weeks to receive my order. It has seemed like forever.

This week Dietmar put the following message on his webpage:

"Because of the high order volume, no more orders are accepted in the time from the 20th of June, 2014 to the 19th of July, 2014. We ask for your understanding."

1. Is there anyone else who has recently ordered from Steelworxx? If so, was the order time quoted when you ordered accurate?

2. Has Dietmar done this before? I've seen it around the holidays, but I previously hadn't visited the webpage daily.

3. Does anyone know how many cages he crafts in a given year? This guy needs an assistant.

I'm in the same situation.
Ordered a cb on May 2nd and no news about it yet.
I ordered another cb in 2012 and it took 1 month from order to delivery.
I just guess that in these two years his orders have drastically increased.

I ordered The Revenge from Steelworxx on June 13. I was informed it would be 8 weeks delivery time. Looks like I go in just under the wire.
