modifying cb6000s

Post by lockedup »

hi, ive been wearing a cb6000s for a few days and its going well so far, ive adjusted the ring sizes and gap and prevented ball slip out however im now incredibly sore from the ring,

wonder why they didn't make a smooth ring! I also have a metal one and don't usually have any problems with the ring as its smooth,

the cb ones have ridges and its cutting in when I get an erection, Ive been using baby oil underneath the ring, i.e from the back, but where the balls clamp between the cage and ring they overlap the ring and I cant get my finger in or a swab without pain, or if I should ride it out and I will get accustomed to the device?

wondering if anyone has modified it, i.e filled the ridge in and sanded down with some 800-1000 grit, to smooth it up, and if it helped?

thanks

The rings you describe are from a fake cb6000s. The real 6ks has smooth rings and no seam to sand down.

I had a fake 6000 and did fill in the ring with epoxy and then sanded it down. Worked for a while until the plastic cage broke.

ive used some clear silicone sealant, normal bathroom/kitchen,

its some anti-mould, anti germ one, basically just filled in the groove, has anyone else used normal diy store silicone?

I bought one of those fake ones on fleebay. The ridge pinched my skin and made me raw pretty quickly.

I went to the local hobby lobby and bought an acrylic casting kit for about $12 and some forest green dye for a few more dollars. I just washed the ring really good and dried it. Then I mixed the casting acrylic in a plastic cup and added a few drops of the dye (my wifes idea). I laid the ring on a flat surface and poured the arcylic down a plastic stir stick to keep a tiny stream. Filled the groove until it was just a tiny bit overfull. That made the ring a little more round. Let it cure 24hrs at room temp. Flippped the ring over and repated the procedure on the other side. Again, filling just a few drops overfull, to give it a crown and create the rounding effect. It ended up making the ring just a tiny bit more snug - which I needed. I'm using the largest ring. The next size down makes me turn purple - so I struggled with a lot of slippage and a cage that hung a little too loosely around the base. The few extra drops of casting gel in the groove was a lucky accident. Worked out perfectly by making the ring just a little wider/thicker and rounded front and back.

Now I have a clear ring with a dark green insert cast into that center groove. Kinda cool looking.

Sometimes paying a few bucks extra to get the real thing is worth it.

Those counterfeit rings did the same thing to me. Eventually I bought a replacement ring for the legit 6000 and used it instead of the knock off ring.

Having read through this topic I too seem to have a fake CB600. I have the camouflage one, now the paint is coming off it, I have had to sand it to make it comfortable and then the ring I use broke so am now on the largest, third one makes me purple and I cant stand the pain even though I can get my finger in it is too tight I was thinking of going silicone for my next one, they are £24 on ebay, is that too cheap?
