Do ruined orgasms count?

Re: Does a Ruined Orgasm "Count"
Well, FWIW, we don't count them. We count them as "releases", which are a minimal thing necessary for assisting the plumbing, but not for enjoyment.
But it doesn't matter, because as soon as you post something like "It's been 3 months since my last orgasm, and I've only had 3 ruined orgasms," then some idiot will post something like "Oh yeah? Well, I haven't had an orgasm in 6 months, and my partner only milked me with a cattle prod four times."

For some reason, I feel like I just don't bounce back from ruined orgasms like others report. In that sense, I feel like kind of a purist still. I want to keep playing with ruined orgasms anyway. But if I am going to go for an extended time, I would prefer no orgasm at all.
Re: Does a Ruined Orgasm "Count"
Hmmm... does it count... tha'ts interesting and not something my KH or I have really thought about as she always make sure I don't get that close when we do T&D stuff. I guess in our case we would count them because while it isn't the same as a "full" orgasm, you still reach it the same way generally. Of course Tom Allen makes a good point about "releases", but to us that's more like prostate milking.
As for the locked time. I personally don't include those times. Everyone needs out slightly at times for better cleaning and stuff. But personally we use "time since last orgasm" rather than saying something like "being locked".
As you said, to each their own...
PS... cattle prod? Really? Sounds hot!

I don't think I'd want to go for a regular cattle prod, way too much juice. On the other hand, the device used for causing a bull to ejaculate (semen collection for artificial insemination) might be a thought...but I'd want to know just how powerful it is first...hmmmmm, time for some research.

We don't do the prostate milking, so we use other methods. For example, after a few months of denial, I will actually release just from the rhythmic thrusting when I wear the strapon for her; the combination of the pressure on my groin and the cage seems to activate things inside me. We don't count that, but it is considered a release, and it's only when she allows it (I have to tell her when it feels like I'm going to have one), about once every couple of months.Sub Cy wrote:Of course Tom Allen makes a good point about "releases", but to us that's more like prostate milking.
Which makes sense, when you think about it.As for the locked time. I personally don't include those times. Everyone needs out slightly at times for better cleaning and stuff. But personally we use "time since last orgasm" rather than saying something like "being locked".

I think you're worrying unnecessarily about this.HeldForHer wrote:I know, I know, to each his/her own but... just looking for your opinions and personal interpretations: Do ruined orgasms count? i.e., if you say it's been xx months since your last orgasm, are you counting ruined orgasms?
Similarly, if you say you've been locked since last September for example, do you mean there has been no temporary escape for T&D contact, etc.?
Obviously John's device comes off for cleaning and, indeed, playtime, plus some other times, too.
And whether ruined orgasms 'count' is a matter for the individual -- some men find they give relief; others, like John, find they just make it more frustrating. So to the first group I guess they would count as orgasms; but to the second group, including John, they don't.
But all of this has the essential flaw that you're worrying about an external measure of what you're doing.
You'll do better just to draw up your own rules about what works and what doesn't and play it your way. Because no matter what you conclude yourselves, there will always be someone who thinks they know your own thoughts and feelings better than you do.

My initial reaction is - if you don't know, ask your keyholder.HeldForHer wrote:I know, I know, to each his/her own but... just looking for your opinions and personal interpretations: Do ruined orgasms count?
I haven't had much experience with it, so I can't say as to how I actually would feel about being given a ruined orgasm and then locked back in. I *think* I would still be left frustrated, perhaps more than before. And I suspect I would also have a bit of disappointment about it emotionally - which is often typical with release in general.
But I can't actually say how it feels for me, its all just theory.

Re: Does a Ruined Orgasm "Count"
For us my ruined O's give ZERO relief so they don't "count" for us. My wife has perfected giving me ruined Os and is somewhat addicted to them. She loves that I'm a bit emptied and that I stay hard for her prolonged pleasure. For this year we have agreed that she gets as many Os as she wishes while I'm only to have one real O per month. So far this year she has had over 30 real Os to one for me. I'm REALLY hoping to get my February real O on Friday at day 48 for me!!!!
