Well, instead of posting "Reflections at Seven Weeks", I'm happy to report "Explosion at Seven Weeks". Felt like my brain and all were coming out (the one in the big head). It was only a few hours afterwards, my spouse was already noting my substandard attentiveness to her. I forgot to do a couple of things she asked me to do and fell short on some chores. I'm trying to do better today. This is sort of our "Twilight Zone" period. We don't quite know what to do with ourselves. I am not acting like my usual self and she is suffering thru my less than stellar behavior. I truthfully do not act this way on purpose and really don't understand it. Generally, her MO is to give me a few days free before relocking. I am fortunate that she doesn't immediately lock me back up. In my current state of mind, that would be the pits. It's curious how, following an orgasm, I'm happy to be free, but after a few days I start to miss being locked. My spouse seems to recognize when it is time. She also says the next chaste period will be longer.

I know the feeling. I'm at day 38 with 19 more to go. (When I turned 57 my wife told me that it would be 57 days before my next orgasm)

She notices an attitude difference in me when I'm "unsecured". I also usually get a fews days out of the cage after an orgasm but I too am ready to climb back in soon after.

Since my JB is so comfortable to wear it's like wearing a watch. Feeling sorta naked without it.

I can relate so much. Always after an orgasm I would rather stay out of my device. I start to think stuff like: "What and why the hell are you doing this to yourself!?" ... Last time she wanted me to lock up right afterwards, but then decided I could stay out during the night. Just those few hours of freedom gave me the strength of will to lock back up ... I don't think I would have had the willpower to do it myself right afterwards.

I've only had two O's in 2012. Otherwise locked 24/7. After each O the deal is that I'm to lock back up immediately while still in the haze of the orgasm. If i didn't, and I allowed my old self to return, I likely wouldn't want to lock back up at all. It keeps me humming along as if it was never removed at all. For us it's the best system.

I always try to pay more attention to Chatelaine post-release and invariably get called up by her for letting my game drop. I think we're hard wired on this.

The 3 days after an emission are also the worst for being tempted to cheat because my loss is fairly small and it's a week away from the pleasures of denial kicking in.
