Deciding how long you are in chastity

I have asked her how long does she think it should be locked up for. She said "6 months sound good for a start".

Now I have to decide, do I lock up or not?

It could be a bluff, or a tease if you like but either way she's playing the game that you 'took a couple of years to get her into' while you're vacillating over whether to join in!!

And so what if it turns out to be the full 6? If it goes like our 2nd child, you won't be missing much anyway and you'll be on a voyage of self-discovery instead of forever wondering what might have been.

I do think this thread has taken a bit of a bizarre turn. Poor makes an excellent point - surely after spending a lengthy amount of time waiting for your wife to take up chastity, you should be punching the air with joy and jamming your cage on with delight now she has suggested you lock up?

Everyone's chastity dymanic is different ofcourse but an overwhelming theme is the handing over of control to your spouse. This doesn't really square with you rubbing your chin and wondering if you should lock up at all. If you dont want to hand over control, then don't. But then you shouldn't be at all surprised when she has lost all interest in the game when you next bring it up.

On the other hand, chastity is not celibacy and a policy of "lock and leave alone" won't work either so might I suggest, with all due respect, you stop pondering whether to lock up or not on this forum and have a decent and realistic conversation with your wife about it. As Atone says, a 6 months initial lock up is unrealistic - this is great place to get real answers to real chastity related issues but whether to lock or not? We often go from week to week without making a decision. She'll often say "Oh, you can stand it for a few more days, can't you?" and then another week goes by again.

In this manner, a couple of weeks will drag out for a few months.

Roll dice, with the number of spots determining days, weeks, or months. Use a deck of cards with values assigned to the face cards the same way and wild cards if you want. Either method can have multipliers. Use your imagination.

You could even determine what sort of minimum and maximum ranges you (both) might want, and simply write the numbers corresponding to the range on small slips of paper and drop them in an empty coffee can or other suitable container. Then (without looking) you or she could draw one out and whatever it says is how long you are in for.

This is pretty similar to the game my wife and I play. We have a bag full of blue and white marbles. (Usually 10 blue and one white). Mathematically, in this situation the averages say you will normally pick a white marble on the fifth draw. Whenever we start getting frisky, I will blindly grab a marble from the bag. She sees it (I don't) and we continue to have sex. She normally orgasms before I do anyway, but we go until I am ready to explode.
