Have returned! Just wanted to say hi. So many names I don't recognize, glad to see the community growing. I locked him back up tonight after a very crazy few months. He almost died on me, and my father did pass away. Playing took a back seat to more serious stuff, but we are back and with fresh eyes and a new found interest. Hoping to Starr blogging again in the next few days too

Sorry to hear about your dad. I haven't had to go through that yet but my wife has with both of her parents. That was hard enough. It will continue to be difficult, especially the first year.

How is Jnuts? Are there any long term problems or was there an accident or something? If I remember correct you guys were pretty young.

I look forward to following your blog again. Maybe you can give Dev a little nudge too, she popped in one day and then back out just as fast.

Ruptured appendix. Had a bit of a hospital stay followed by a drain in my stomach and some home healthcare. Not fun. I'm 110% now.

Dude.. you have my sympathy... Same happend to me when I was 10 that was er, some time ago now, they did have anaesthesia, I think maybe I was the first! I do remember how utterly painful it was. I am glad to hear you are better.

Belle, very sad news about your father. In time, you will get to remember him without feeling quite so sad. I think about my mother every single day even after many years. Now the memories are a treasure and they make me smile to myself, I never thought I would get to that place, but I did.

Glad you're back! I am new to these sites/blogs, but would be remiss if I did not say that your blog is the most compelling I have read, for me personally. I can just relate to virtually everything you write about - it is real and resonates a lot with my own situation and thinking.
