Lock Noise

Just a quick fix for lock noise. Rubberbands come in all types of thickness. Find a thick one at staples or office depot and wrap it around your lock. Its secure,water proof, and easy to take on and off. Neither of us want anyone else knowing, especially co workers.

Try small pony tail holders. They are small in size, less likely to get twisted in hair, and very effective.

I use a rubber band to "tie" the lock to my cb, but I have to admit -- as soon as I get home, my pants come down, the band comes off, and I do a little shake just to hear the lovely rattle it mskes

Kids at home, so I didn't want to hear the lock clacking. I have dipped the padlock in liquid rubber, or have coated it with silicone caulk to keep the noise down.

I bought the reuseable plastic lock from LUL.net for my cb6ks. No more clicking and a lower crotch profile. They have a secutity screw that accepts only the tool that it comes with it. Great item.
