They are an interesting bondage concept.

It basically consists of a small pipe and a hoop, usually metal.

You slide the pipe which has a very slightly flared base down your urethra (flared end first) until your urethral opening is clear. The hoop is too wide to fit in to your urethral opening other than going narrow edge first through the slit. You slip the hoop sideways through your urethral opening and turn it so it's inline with the pipe, then you bring the pipe back out and it slides through the middle of the hoop and out your urethral opening. This then means that the hoop can't spin sideways anymore, because the pipe is going through the centre of it and therefore the hoop cannot get back out your urethral opening. And the pipe can't pull out all the way as it has a flared end stopping it from going through the hoop.

You can then attach a lock to the end of the pipe that is exposed, or attach it to something, like a chastity device.

This means when installed you basically have a hard point that cannot be removed from your penis. All without any piercing or body modification. I should also say that the pipes will normally have a hollow centre to allow you to urinate and therefore use them for long term wear.

Hope that helps!

I’ve been wearing my cage with a tetherspout for a while now and I’ve discovered a few things.
I’d it’s done correctly it’s pretty much inescapable for me now.
I could theoretically pull out, but not without causing myself immense pain and possibly bodily harm.

It’s also important to use a cage that functions properly with the tetherspout. I’ve found that there’s a lot of discomfort and even pain if it’s allowed to move around even a little, so I’ve glued (with an epoxy that bonds with metal on a molecular level) the badassworkrooms proprietary lock to the end of my cage so that my penis is securely locked and unable to move within the cage.
No pain now, and only the occasional moldy irritating sensation that there’s something in my urethra.

Taking a piss is much cleaner now, and this is one reason I might stick with the tetherspout and not go for a PA. All my pee comes out the end of the tetherspout hole in a neat stream. No unwanted spill and no soaked balls.
This is very nice!
I’m locked and kept by Redraven, my life partner, soulmate and loving key holder. When life is hard, she’s keeps me feeling loved.

Just wanted to give you all a bit of an update.

I got a 9mm tetherspout from ternence.com - the quality is good although the applicator seems to be less than useless (please let me know if I'm getting the wrong end of the stick and you know how to use it!). It slipped in nice and easy and I got to hoop over no problem at all. A little nervous about how I was going to get it out - but was repeating the advice that everybody gives about getting them in and out - breathe and be patient and don't panic. Anyway, there was no point in stressing because the thing after a few minutes just slipped out at a bit of an angle and it was out! Oh well too small for me I guess...

I was too stingy to buy a sound to know what size so I just kinda guessed what size I would be, and was wrong.

So I ordered another. the 11mm one this time (with a 13mm hoop) - and waited for it to arrive.

After just over a week my second tetherspout arrived, and I nervously gave it a good clean and tried to install it. It was quite a bit girthier than the first one and took a little effort to slide it in. I felt full. And again, the hoop slid in, easily went over the spout, and the spout then emerged from me and there it was, tethered deep inside me, I pulled, it felt... weird... it was buried in me and wouldn't come out even when I pulled pretty hard.

I decided to leave it in and try and see if it remained comfortable. I slid a padlock through the holes in the end and locked it in place. I managed 9-hours before the removal nerves started and I really wanted to make sure I could get it out... so I did the reverse, took my time, didn't stress and first the hoop slid out followed by the spout. A little discomfort as the spout came out, but that was it, no pain afterwards, no issue urinating, no problems.

So now that I've verified that they work for me, I'm going to have to work out my tetherspout chastity solution... any suggestions welcome!
