Last night, the second night since my brief spell of freedom, was better than expected. The first had been rather poor in terms of sleep with a lot of straining against the cage, which surprised me seeing as I'd come earlier that evening. But the words “Once is not enough” rang very true that first night. I was expecting the same last night but somehow, miraculously, I slept through and don't remember anything until about 5am. It all seems so random to me. Never know what to expect.

Preparing myself sounds like good advice and a wise plan but I feel like I somehow need to prepare for the unknown!

I know that you are right.
My mistake was being naïve in the early days thinking that the cage would be used to prevent masturbation and control when we had sex (more accurately, when I had sex). My naivety was in thinking that Miss Emmie wouldn't control anything beyond those things. That she wouldn't be interested. Wouldn't want to. Woke up this morning and realised that I was “about a week” into the new stint of “a month”. My next realisation was that I was no longer thinking in days or nights. Previously I would have said “6 nights into a 30 night stint, so 24 to go”. I'm subconsciously rounding into weeks all of a sudden.

I'm also well into my third month since beginning chastity. Someone said that realistically, I can assume it will take three months to get used to it fully and properly. Another realisation this morning was that I was, perhaps, getting close to “being used to it”. I was lying in bed, hard of course, but just accepting the frustration that straining against the cage causes. It would pass. There was nothing I could do about it.
