Why does she unlock?

My wife takes breaks from having me locked up but the only one I can understand is when I have to fly. Going through security with a metal cage isn't practical and she doesn't want to risk ANY exposure so she has me leave it at home. I get it.

There are other times when she removes the cage for sex, satisfies me and then puts it away. I'm so happy when locked up, I don't understand why she doesn't keep me caged when "not in use."

We had a trip last weekend that required several flights so I was unlocked, I decided to lock myself back up and hand her the key the following night. She was mildly surprised but kept the key. I intend to have a talk with her about keeping me locked more consistently. Perhaps she is looking for a break from teasing but I haven't been VERY calm about my needs and demands.

Anyone have any experience with your KH letting you out for reasons that aren't obvious?

Sometimes, my wife wants to be 'nice' and give me a break. She doesn't quite 'get' the concept that, for the masochistic personality, having someone be 'nice' to him is not necessarily a desirable condition.

I plan to have a conversation to discuss this one. My wife uses the same words "give you a break." Not sure if she knows how great it is to surrender this part of me to her or if she just feels like SHE needs to take a break from the attention she may feel obliged to show me with teasing.

I didn't respond simply because she prefers to keep me locked all the time. Only exceptions are medical, when we travel (air/cruise) or when she desires to play with me. Other than that, I'm in for the long haul.

Not sure if it's perfect but she knows I adore her, put her first and just can't do enough to please her and she reciprocates in kind by taking care of my desires. Win/win!

Sometimes Mrs Edge just doesn't want to be bothered with having to find a key, unlock me, have me wash off, etc. Sometimes she just wants me to toss her on the bed and have my way with her. And sometimes I want that, too.

We take breaks because it's fun to go back to it.

I commented to my wife the other day that sometimes she's kind and sometimes she's an evil prick tease. She asked which I preferred and when I said evil prick tease, that surprised her.

I think for her as well as a lot of women this is a conundrum because they love us and want to make us happy. And since part of this is us guys desperately wanting an orgasm, they then want to give us that.

I guess I have it pretty easy. I get unlocked every night, unless I do something stupid, and then I have to sleep in it. Comes off if we know we are going somewhere that has a metal detector or if My work takes my out of town overnight. But that only happens once every two months or so. Other than that, I'm "in" by 5:30 in the morning, out at 9:30. I give you guys credit for being able to sleep in it all the time. We tried that for a week about a month into this, and after I fell asleep on the way to the office, and almost wrecked my new truck. That put a swift end to trying to do it 24/7.
