I had a very similar start. Bought my Holy Trainer to stop masturbating, didn't even tell my wife until I had beenwearing it for four days.

Once you get past the initial awkwardness of her trying to wrap her head around your decision, and get past her fears that it's going to hurt you, things will get very good.

Every couple has to decide what role chastity plays in their relationship, but I think every couple on here would agree that taking the focus off the man is a very good thing at least some of the time.

Just remember that she is a partner in this and will have her own opinion about it. What you want from it and what she wants from it could be very different. You'll have to work it out together. Chastity is a team effort. The man might have to wear the lock, but the wife needs to keep him motivated and feeling loved.

Thanks for responding! I was going to discuss it with her this week after experimenting with the Holy Trainer for a day or two, but she got sick suddenly and I had to put it off. Perhaps next week when she is feeling better and off medication.

Yes, I do have some anxiety about her response, as years ago I opened up about light bondage and some other desires, and she didn't respond negatively like so many fear when exposing their inner selves, but we also never really did anything together about it. Having kids also doesn't help.

Anyway, I appreciate the advice and will probably move my discussion into another thread if it goes well or not!
