I must admit - my new custom cage is great. Not only for fit, but it has a satisfying 'clunk' which reminds me constantly I am wearing it. Before I was really self-conscious of this, and now I have come to love this feeling.
Being hard of hearing, I don't know, nor care if other people hear it. I keep a few coins in my pockets just in case anyway.
So what's your preference - do you like the clicking and clunking of the padlock against the cage? Or are you going stealthy as possible?

"She waved the keys in front of me and with a sly grin said 'You'll never see these again unless I let you out'" - my wife.

Security screws mean there's no clunk, end of story.

Still having difficulty getting back into 24/7/365 chastity since covid. Very tender old man skin under the scrotum damages easily. Trying an HT Mk5 nub now. Love the fact you can’t pull out of it, hope my skin toughens up.

Normally don't hear anything when walking around normally but on runs when away from traffic, I can detect "tap" when the cage hits lock and pushes it away and "click" when they meet again. In my tortured mind, it sounds like "YOU'RE LOCKED. YOU'RE LOCKED."
Not a fan of sound coming across in day to day movement.

My lock came with a black plastic cover. It makes a very soft "click" that I can hear (and love). I really doubt anyone else could hear it. If they did, they would think it was my car keys, which do jingle... But I can tell the difference.
I love feeling the lock click against the cage the most.
