I'm in a satin-finished Adaptus. The basering is the same as the Contender, but the cage is indeed a (slightly) modified Chinese cage originally called the "Captus." My issue is with the base ring, not the cage—the blisters (thankfully, now fully healed) were under the scrotum and I needed my wife to help me spot them.

The reason for the question was that I normally don't have any issues with this device. I've worn it for weeks at a time without issue. Then, out of the blue, after a night of intense (caged) teasing, and a number of fierce nocturnal errections, I had blisters on the underside of my scrotum. I was wondering if anyone else had similar issues with a seemingly well fitting device that all of a sudden resulted in a serious comfort issue.

FYI: The cage shape isn't quite the same as a Jailbird, the Adaptus has a 90 deg bend, which I thought would hide the device better—but the dang padlock gives all away. Unfortunately, my wife likes the lock more than the screw, and who am I to argue?

I had a similar, though not as severe, experience with my Holy Trainer. I just marked it up to being too aroused. I don't know how many others make an effort not to get strong erections during teasing, but we found it to be helpful to do some training to condition me not to get so aroused down there.

Really, if you're wearing the device, erections are kind of pointless and uncomfortable anyway. As I learned to have milder erections, things were much more comfortable.

So then I can answer. I have the same basering also with Satin finish, believe it to be very good material.

I like having errections in the cage :) Mind you I had ones that were painful - but generally speaking I like the tight feeling. I used to wake up every hour from nocturnal errections and that got better now. There are nights were I only have to get out of bed to pee and have things calmed down twice per night. Also I doubt it is possible to do training to avoid nocturnal errections.

That is true, I don't know of anything that would help with nocturnal erections. But I do know that the longer I'm locked up, and the more I adjust to not being able to have erections during the hours I'm awake, the less of a problem nocturnal erections are for me.

Switching to the smaller cage and having my erections very limited made a huge difference for me. My first (larger) cage had room to grow and the blood flow sort of got a 'foot in the door' and pushed hard against the cage.

The second one only allows maybe a 1/4 to 1/2 inch of development and when the urgency is over, it dissipates quickly.

I can't say that I haven't been awakened in the smaller cage but it is much more unusual than it was in the larger one.

PROBLEM SOLVED!!

It was a gap issue. I had originally kept the gap the same on the Adaptus as I had on my other (Chinese) devices—as it is effective and comfortable. However, the aggressive bend of the Adaptus cage pushes it against the front of the scrotum. This in turn, squeezed the space between the cage bottom and the basering. Using the high tech instruments of a rubber mallet and a wooden block, I changed the angle of the post and increased the gap at the bottom of the cage from 10.2mm to 12.0mm

Voila! No more blisters, burn, or pinching.

Once again proving the universal axiom, a big enough hammer can fix anything!
