We were just at Disney over the weekend. Twice in one day i got pulled entering parks for "Additional screening"
Mind you I'm 6'5" pushing a baby stroller. Had to go through a metal detector and got the wand waved over me. I wasnt locked but i could see how the Jailbird could have been a problem in that situation. No reason to tempt those guys when we are there for family fun.
Has anyone gone through airport security...

Re: Has anyone gone through airport security...
I was just thinking about this. It's getting harder and harder to be sure you won't have to go through a metal detector... Ball games, concerts, museums... It occurred to me the other day when I had to get wanded to go into a carnival. I want to order a jailbird but I'm not sure I can go about my daily activities without eventually running into a problem with security somewhere.Lockedchef wrote:We were just at Disney over the weekend. I'd be curious to here more from people who've actually walked through metal detectors while wearing a device (particularly a steel device). I don't know how sensitive those machines are.
Re: Has anyone gone through airport security...
I had my first walk thought security in a CB3000 with no problem, my usual jailbird would have set the sensors off, but the CB no problem using a numbered plastic lock. I must say I was hugely "worried it would register"... Definately don't want to have to explain my erotic jewelry... Madam KH is totally ok with this, I don't like the CB preferring my JB, but for a few days, keeping her happy it's all worth it...
if we travel together she is ok me not being in chastity, but trips alone she is insisting I stay locked... I'd get a JB for everyday 24/7 wear... An a CB synthetic plastic type for traveling... Best of both worlds
Wish it was widely accepted that some men dedicate themselves to their women and choose chastity, and chastity was no issue...

What about the backscatter scanners they are using at some airports?
Past Devices: Curve & CB 6000s. Both broke, were repaired; then broke beyond repair. I threw the dreaded Spiked Chamber away.
Current Devices: MM Jail Bird, Cobra, MM Watchful Mistress, Holy Trainer v3, and a new Curve.

We have been thinking along the same lines. Although I prefer my JB, we may purchase a custom chastity ghost to be secured by a sturdy ziptie and numbered tag for times when the metal device is not practical. We haven't ordered yet, but are considering it.Caged55 wrote:I had my first walk thought security in a CB3000 with no problem, my usual jailbird would have set the sensors off, but the CB no problem using a numbered plastic lock. Re: Has anyone gone through airport security...
Went to a Patriots game last year with four friends and it was cold. Everyone was bundled up and I was wearing my Watchful Mistress. I got wanded and it chirped right at the crotch area. The security guy looked at me and said "belt buckle" to which I replied "yup" and he just waived me through. Whew, wasn't looking forward having my friends ask why I was being singled out for additional screening.ChastityNoob wrote:It's getting harder and harder to be sure you won't have to go through a metal detector... Several years ago I was flying by myself and I wore my CB6000s with numbered zip tie lock from Boston to Charlotte and back. Boston had me go through the back scatter and I wasn't questioned. The return was also not an issue but with the older scanner. I tried it since I was by myself and wanting to see what would happen. I was prepared to say, "really, you think this is a danger to anyone"

Happily secured since 4/2010
Have worn CB3000, CB6000s, MM Jail Bird & Watchful Mistress,
DHgate A271 & 273, DHgate Full Stainless Steel Belt & DHgate HT nub
Currently wearing A273

Re: Has anyone gone through airport security...
Yeah I'm actually much more concerned with standard metal detectors and wands than full body airport scanners. I don't fly that much so I can work around that. I'm more worried about the spontaneous decision to go to a ballgame or museum... Even a lot of nightclubs wand customers these days. With all the heightened security, it seems impossible to be able to anticipate every time you might have to go through a metal detector. I don't mind planning around certain events, but I feel like having a primary metal device is eventually going to get me into a sticky situation... Or very embarassing at the very least. I'm not sure I feel confident relying on a belt buckle as my excuse.
I guess as the saying goes... There's only one way to find out

Re: Has anyone gone through airport security...
We just spent a month traveling internationally, while wearing a ghost secured by a plastic ziptie and a numbered tag. It appeared that it may have showed up on a full body scanner. I also had a lip balm in my pocket, so I got pulled aside. After I showed it to them and after a quick tug on my waist band, they let me go. I understand that they are being phased out, as they are too expensive to maintain and are unreliable. The standard scanners have never been a problem.
Re: Has anyone gone through airport security...
I know several men who wear devices through the security check. Of dozens and dozens of posts about the ones in plastic devices with metal locks, I have only ever heard one person report that it set off the device, but after wanding the sensitivity was so low that the inspector said "it must be the zipper" and let them go.
The few fellows I know who stay locked in a metal belt (and some using style the full waist ones) they all simply tell the security that they need a private pat down first and that they are wearing "body jewelry" - none report having any issues with it, though it can take them longer to get through the security process and they do need to be willing to show what they're wearing.
Personally, I've been through in a CB 3000 with a plastic lock without issue. And I have put my MM jailbird in my luggage many times without raising an eyebrow (at least that I noticed.)
