Lent - giving up orgasms

This will be my fourth attempt at going through lent (from Vday to Easter) without an orgasm. My longest was 28 days so the thought of 41 is intimidating. Also being only day 2, makes me a little leery. But I've been sick the last two weeks so it really hasn't hit me yet. Once I'm back to healthy I'm sure it'll kick in and I'll be desperate. Or maybe I've finally resigned to the fact that it is possible and this is the time I succeed.

My gf had my denied for a week before giving me a ruined one and then a full one on Saturday. Sunday I gave myself one right before midnight to clear the pipes as I hadn't had a lot of opportunities to do so in the last few weeks.

So anybody else going without this Lent? Or have any advice other than to stay busy? I live alone so in my downtime it can get hard. But I have some hobbies and things to keep me distracted most days.

40-41 days is not really that long for many of us to abstain from something. Not having orgasms for 1 to 2 months is pretty common here. But when I was little we always considered Sunday as an exempt from penance day where you could have candy. And now that we're grown up there are different kinds of candy.

41 days is an obscene amount of time for me. Almost 2 weeks longer than I've been. I have a high sex drive and only see my woman on weekends generally so I want to get what I can get when I can get it. Lol. So purposefully waiting and missing out on those rare opportunities takes discipline. However my gf enjoys the teasing at least when there in person. So I am getting more sex now than ever before. Just not allowed to finish.

It's not easy. I'm on day 10 and this is my third or 4th time attempting it. This Time I have the support of an understanding yet fairly vigilant girlfriend. Despite not living together she likes me to give her updates on how I'm feeling and such. I like to think she masterbates to my frustration but she's told me she does not. That when I see her I'm so eager to please multiple times that she doesn't have to urge to pleasure herself anymore. I take that as a compliment. And has earned her support and appreciation of my chastity goals. My longest streak was 28 days I think so I commend you on your achievements so far.

I'm glad this board exists so we can support one another in the trying times.
