Strong pain in smallest ring

Post by LockedBoy »

Hi everyone,

I'm relatively new to chastity, and I own a CB-6000 as my first chastity device.

I used to be locked with the biggest ring, but when I'm 100% flacid, I could remove my penis from the cage, so we tried a smaller ring.

However, I absolutely can't wear the 3 smallest, so I had to wear the 4th ring.
But if I have a very beginning of an erection with this ring, I immediately have a strong pain in testicles, as if someone crushed them slowly... It's really painful, and as long as I'm not 100% flacid, the pain is intense and I have to sit or lie down until I get flacid again.

The biggest advantage is I can't permit to grow because of the immediate pain, but I'm afraid about health problem. The other ring was frustated because I could grow a little bit, but it wasn't "painful" whereas this one is really painful to wear.

I'd like to know :
- if this pain is normal
- if I should get the biggest ring again

Thanks for your tips

You will probably have to work down gradually, and it's possible that with this type of device you may not ever get to the point of being 100% secure. There are numerous posts from myself and others that cover this topic.

What you are experiencing is not unusual. You may be like me- I am a "grower", not a "show-er"- I do not appear to be particularly impressive when flaccid but when erect I'm at the upper end of average. I also have very 'strong' erections, this means that any ring small enough to prevent 'pullout' causes considerable pain/discomfort when I get aroused during [uncontrollable] nocturnal erections. I have been able to progressively work down in size, though with somewhat less success on my most recent attempt- I discovered that the next-to-smallest ring has gone missing and I was trying to jump *two* sizes, to the smallest. (I have looked everywhere here for the missing ring and can't find it, I can only guess that it may have been left in a hotel somewhere. Oops.)

Some guys have reportedly been successful by going to a cage that is so small that erections are completely prohibited, which allows them to use a smaller ring. I haven't tried that yet, although, to be honest, I sort of enjoy the frustration of being able to get partially erect and not being able to do anything with it.

First let me address a couple of things.
No trapped ball device is 100% secure. When flaccid almost everyone, even with some effort, can get out of the cage.
A chastity cage will not prevent erections, just contain them.

I think you need to go back to the smallest ring that you were comfortable in. It may not be the best when flaccid but intense pain is your body's way of saying something wrong. Wait a while, weeks, and try the smaller ring again. Many guys find that after starting in a device they can tolerate a smaller base ring later on.
Current device - MM Custom
Previous devices - CB2000, 3000, 6000, 6000s, Curve

Agree with the comments. Almost everyone here will tell you that the base ring they started out in is not the ring they ended up wearing long term. Start slow with the one that doesn't give you any pain. Discomfort once and a while is ok but you should not be in pain. Then after a week or more, try moving down one size and see how it feels. Does this ring make you feel more secure? At night you may want to go back to the larger one since nocturnal erection can be troublesome. It's an adjustment period that your body will need to find.
Happily secured since 4/2010 :-)

Thank you for your answers, I will go back to the biggest ring then go down in some weeks and try again. I really feel more secure with the biggest, but more tempted too...

As TwistedMister guessed, I'm a grower and the problem with this cage is I can take my penis out when totally flacid.
I should probably use an extremly small cage in some times to be totally prohibited to have an erection, even by night... Is someone already tried it ?
