Mods to a mm jailbird

Im thinking of getting another mm jailbird as my current one has sizing issues but I was wondering about customising. My main issue is that as a circumcised man, my urethra "eats" the bar at the end which is uncomfortable and messy when it comes to peeing. I was thinking to order it so tha the bars are reversed. Ie the bars that are on the inside at the end of the cage (vertical) would be on the outside. I remember seeing something on here about this but cant find it now. Has anyone tried this and if so what was your experience?

Any other suggestions welcome too.

With the swap of the bars orientation, I think some one has wrote about doing this before. I think their problem was they weren't circumcised and it was more comfortable for them.

Another option is to not have the horizontal bars at all. This is what I had done and it cures the problem of splashing.

Locked by LRC, I've always been intrigued by the design of your device and foremost having no horizontal bars in the front. I would be concerned that I could sneak my head between the two vertical bars and thus be able to stimulate myself to an orgasm. Not a great O but one nether the less.

I had the same problem. The cause, it turned out, was that the cage was too long. When I got it shortened so that the head of my penis is always in firm contact with the end of the cage, the urethra stays centered. It "wanders" once in a while, but never "bites" the bars. Shortening your cage costs $100...much cheaper than a new device. I went from 1 3/4" long to 1 1/4" and it is perfect now.

What you can't tell from the picture are the bars are tapered toward the middle. They set about 3/16" on either side of the urethral slit leaving about a 3/8" gap.

If I tried, I may be able to squeeze out of the sides. The problem is the openings there are so small I wouldn't want an erection while through there.

The Jailbird by MM, is by far the most comfortable I have ever treid, so comfortable that I showed my Mistress, and we added permanent chastity instantly to our lifestyle... without much regret, I forget mostly I'm wearing it. I agree with some, re the length of the cage, at your relaxed measurement take off another 1/4 inch, mine is a bit too long, and will have it shortened.... after I get the Queens Keep, as my wife has decided that will be my winter cage, and the Jailbird my summer cage, and chastity has become a 24/7 lifestyle... no objetions there

I took off 1/2". I thought I made a horrible mistake at first, but after a week or two it is the perfect length. Everything stays lined up all the time.
