Warming the Replacement

My wife and I have used a strap-on for a while now as a replacement for PIV intercourse while I am locked. While she enjoys it, one of her complaints is that the replacement is not as warm as the real thing. This takes away from her being able to view it as a complete replacement like we had hoped.

So, my question to you all is if you have found any way of warming up the strap-on so that it doesn't feel so... fake?

Run it under warm water? My favorite dildo is my cyberskin one and although it is chilly at first it very very quickly warms to body temp and if you were to hold it in your hand even for a min our so before inserting I bet it wouldn't even feel cool but I don't bother since it warms up so fast. It feels much more real than anything else I've used. It's softer and more forgiving.

I'm with Lady M. I run it under hot water before bed, or sometimes just cradle it next to me body for a while. The good ones (we have a VixSkin from Blowfish) will warm up quickly.

Aye my wife loves her Cyberskin vibe... Sometimes she has me run it under hot water, sometimes she takes it cold. She says warmer feels more real, but likes it both ways.

i am always expected to bathe MsM before Her "playtime" and the required toys go in the bath to warm up at the same time, problem solved. If there is no bathing for some reason i use a bowl of hot water with a towel as part of the bedroom preparations.

Usually, I have it in a sink of hot water (with the leather harness away from the wet) while I get ready. Otherwise, the one we use is pretty big, so I tuck it down and between my thighs for a bit, while I rub her.
