So I have a cb6000 currently. My biggest complaint is that the rings are squared off on the edges and not rounded. I do have the amazon version of this cage. No, I havent had any issues with the cage breaking or splitting. Maybe I got a decent one? But, does the REAL Cb cages have rounded edge rings? or are they squared off as well? Everything is comfy except, the ring digging into the bottom of my scrotum. I am using the 2" ring and that is fairly tight. Last night, after taking a long hot shower, I noticed that I could pull out my penis, I had a decent gap at the top of the cage.. So I went and put the next size down on the ring, I think its a 1 7/8" It still fits, but it causes my skin on my balls to kinda bind up on the sides. Which hasnt bother me any.. yet.
My biggest complaint is the bottom of my scrotum which the ring is digging into? Is this normal? Is it part of chastity? I noticed some cages have rounded rings.. I was looking at getting a holy trainer and someone stated on here that the solid hole circle ring is easier to remove then the half rings. I have larger balls and I feel that it would be difficult to not only get my balls through the ring when putting the cage on, but removing it will be hard as well. But, Ive never had a full solid circle ring so i dont know how well it will work.

Re: CB Rings
Price of a genuine CB3/6xxx should be about $150. The manuf. does offer a discount program to *authorized* re-sellers, but last I checked it was not significant. If you paid substantially less than this price, it is almost certainly counterfeit. If you got something other than a "Master Lock" padlock with the device, it is almost certainly counterfeit.
Counterfeit products are almost always of poor quality compared to the genuine article, they are cheap for a reason. Not only do you get a piece of shit, but the purchase of counterfeit products can help to drive legitimate manufacturers out of business, which leaves only shit to choose from. [/rant]

Re: CB Rings
In short, if you have the flatter squared rings, it's going to hurt around your sack with any amount of wear. I do believe the genuine cb6k doesn't have that type of ring.
It would be super easy to see what rings you'd fit in if you got the sizing rings from Mature Metal. Just a thought!

Re: CB Rings
Even the genuine CB rings are too square edged. Back in the day when I purchased my genuine one from Keptforher, I had all the problems Sneaky101 posted about. I wound up rounding the bottom part of the base ring with sandpaper. I used course paper to shape the ring and polished it off by gradually using finer and finer sandpaper. The CB was far more tolerable to wear for extended periods. Then the usual cage splittng and parts breaking at the pins etc. confirmed my decision to move on to steel with a solid round base ring.
If you move on to something else, get something with a "round" solid base ring. Stay away from hinged rings or flat/square solid rings. They are more difficult to put on in the beginning until you figure out the tricks. Once you get used to the tricks, they go on super easy. Besides, with the idea behind chastity, it shouldn't come off very often anyway.
I would be willing to bet that a lot of people/couples that get into chastity are quickly turned off because of the CB style base ring problems or some of the poorly designed Chinese devices and never continue in the life style because of it. It almost ended it for us in the beginning because my wife was concerned about the chafing and open sores caused by the CB. It was hard enough for her to wrap her head around the idea begin with and was only compounded by the physical problems.

Re: CB Rings
The biggest issue I have had regarding CB6000 rings has to do with another important difference between the real deal and the counterfeits. The real rings are solid. The fakes have rings with grooves, presumably to reduce the amount of material needed and make them cheap. I cannot wear the grooved rings for any longer than a few hours because my skin seems to bunch up in the grooves causing major discomfort. The solid rings do not cause the same issue. After my genuine 6000 finally broke for the last time, I bought a $25 version online. I used that main part while using the genuine rings with it, which worked for me.
