So ive been ordered to find a shorter cage, ive years ago worked down from the 8cm first plastic cage, based on the 'best' guidance, and am currently wearing a 3cm open metal HoD JTS 215 medium cage. To go smaller the best I can find is the same design but the small at 2.5cm.
However the major change is that the 3cm one is small pne side but 4.5 cm the other as the cage is angled. The 2.5 cm has no angle so I imagine is will be a lot more cramped, which is good.
As I've moved down sizes i have perversly found escape more difficult, but does there come a point where I could fall out of a cage if its too short? I should add that urethral tubes are a total no no for my wife.
I do need to go down a fair bit in size as thats what she's instructed, but not a flat.
Short cages, an escape question
Re: Short cages, an escape question
Herbi has a House of Denial S160, which is 2cm.
There's no chance of 'falling out'.
In fact, he says it's the tightest one he's got and holds everything firmly in place.
Everything's better with a locked male. Better still with a nude, locked male.

Thank you, thats reassuring.
How does he get along with the hinged ring, i liked that cage but the hinge put me off, I have had a hinged one before from HoD and had pinching issues with the hinge.

Re: Short cages, an escape question
The hinged ring makes it fiddly to put on, but once on there's never been any pinching or any other bad aspects. I guess a solid, non-hinged ring would be easier but it's not as if he's constantly having to take it off and put it back on so that fiddly aspect isn't a problem.

Good and tight as Miss Emmie has said.
What may also be a relevant factor is the gap between the ring and the cage, which is quite small and not adjustable. This might be a problem for some but it suits me and keeps the whole device and its contents still, in place, and secure. No falling out, that's for sure.
In a state of readiness but... Nubbed.

Very true indeed. In fact this may be one of the most overlooked aspects. Ergonomic rings are also more Susceptible to a larger gap. What may also be a relevant factor is the gap between the ring and the cage
She says ‘it’s cute’ in the nub.

Re: Short cages, an escape question
I have a cage this size, as well as a flat and some quite a lot bigger.
They all fit the same hinged ring.
Once you get the hang of it, it is like second nature.
This size cage. 3cm or less. Falling out would be virtually impossible. Pulling out would be as easy as any cage mind you. I have a steel urethral that prevents this and also to make peeing and the whole cage thing easier and more hygenic.
Believe me when I say "There is no such thing as Too small".
Hmmmm. I feel a caption coming on.
Anyway. Have fun with it. Squished is the way to go.

Me. "I only got 30 seconds, that's not fair". C. "life's not fair, suck it up"
Re: Short cages, an escape question
Thanks all, I must say I'd overlooked the HoD 160 as it didn't indicate other sizes were available on the front page, so I've taken the plunge and ordered one. Not sure when it will arrive as Mistress K is ill, but hopefully soon (i think) thanks for the tip Emmi and for the reassurance Herb, hopefuuly she will approve.
I thought I was squished at 3cm, however what I think is irrelevant. And she wants smaller, in her words 'I want you really frustrated". Actually I thought i already was but again apparently I'm wrong.
With regards to gap ive never had an issue with any of the cages from HoD, so maybe I've been lucky.
Looking forward to the new arrival with trepidation. looks like Herb and I will be in the same boat soon
