Chronic cage sliding down issues

I’ve had so many different cages. Loris, Rigid chastity and others. Steel and plastic and 3r printed. I hate plastic cages since they don’t seem like real chastity to me. I’m sure others here would disagree but for me it’s got to be metal, PA secured and well locked. Problem is even my best fitting devices slide down. When I’m slightly cool and things are fairly high and tight, the cage fits great. But the heat of the day causes them to slide down. I’ve tried smaller rings but even then the cage slides. Maybe I’m just not suited for long term chastity. I have too much physical change between cool and very warm and fully relaxed. My latest method to combat the problem is using support straps. However, the few I’ve tried are poorly made and disappointing. Anyone have suggestions for quality made jock style support straps? Looking for something that would attach to the base ring directly. And yes, I’ve tried regular athletic supporters but the give only partial relief. I want straps that would hold the base ring close to the body and prevent slide down.

The only thing I can think of is different underwear. Or a control panty. I had a small hernia and used them to get extra support until the operation. Yes they are women's wear, but you can get them pretty plain in white, black or nude and they aren't at all noticeable.
I still wear them with my cage on and it keeps everything nice, tight and secure without pinching.
Walmart is a great supply for them.

I have same basic issues as OP. Same opinion about metal also. A change in underwear helped me and now it’s all good all the time.

Etsy sometime has better straps.

Or get a thin woman's leather belt and make it yourself. I have a hinged ring, so I can put the strap on easily.

How to make the strap:
Cut off the buckle of the belt.
Make a loop at the end, just wide enough that it can hold the ring. Use eg a 0.5mm drill to make holes for stitching. Put the ring in, sticht the loop.
For the other end I would start with a temporary loop, using eg duct tape. When,after a few days, you have found the right length, stitch it.

Nice extra benefit:
This makes it almost or maybe even completely impossible to pull your/her penis out of the cage (not relevant for you as you have a PA)

This solution has some problems, though:
Showering leaves the leather wet for quite a while. Uncomfortable. Not sure, what all the chemicals do to your skin.
Nightly erections pull less in the balls, but are more painful, because there is no more slack. Her penis bends above the cage, what is painful for me.
Peeing is even messier, because the relevant hole are less aligned.
Currently I have only one strap, that works like a belt. It doesn't show at all, even when wearing bikini briefs and changing in the gym. The lower side of the ring at the scrotum is currently flying free. Thus the cage tilts upwards, in an angle that's not always comfortable. Maybe I'll attach strings there, too.

Thanks for the reply guys. I wouldn’t ever do the panty thing however. Just not into sissy stuff or anything like that. On the other hand, who knows maybe I’d find erotic if I had to wear women’s underwear.
I’m going to continue trying different support straps and see if I can locate one that is quality made. For that, I may have to go and get fitted by a leather maker. Someone who specializes in BDSM wear.
