Upcoming maintenance

The forum is on an old version of phpBB, and it's probably time to update it.

We have four active extensions to phpBB currently, among them postLove. It's entirely possible they'll break. If so, we'll deal with it then.

I don't have a fixed date for the maintenance work, but tentatively this upcoming weekend, August 3rd / 4th

The option to mark the forum read seems to be missing.

The ability to read new posts does not work. When searching for unread posts I see the threads with new posts to them but I am unable to click on the avatar to read the new posts on the thread.

Make sure to accept cookies, there should be a banner at the bottom of the page

I still see the "mark read" link and it works. I'm wondering how many of these issues are just the reinstallation of the cookie privacy extension. Prompting users to accept cookies is a requirement of EU law.
