I had a curve from CB once. That was hinged. Personally I don't like the CB range now with so many better choices.

The current Curves from CB, as well as their other devices, don't have hinged rings. The rings have a gap that you fill in with a couple of plastic pieces. The pieces are a bit fiddly to deal with, and IMO, not suitable for your purposes. Plus, the gap is too small to easily slip a raging hard-on through.

I agree with Mr Pickle. You need a device with a hinged ring. There are plenty of options available. Herbi even seems to have found one that is suitable for long term wear. Many are not because the hinge can pinch or irritate the scrotum skin.

The CB range is indeed very fiddly. I had a CB6000S for a short while and although it helped me to get used to knowing what ring size I needed it didn't last long.

I now have a House of Denial S99 and have had no problems with it. No pinching and the hinged ring does make it easier to get on and off.

Hinged rings “can” pinch but modern hinge designs are much better than the old ones. It’s also possible to put silicone tubing over the joint if you have an issue.

We did try a hinged ring device. However, when I got aroused, it chafed a lot. A thinner, smoother ring appears better but we haven’t given it a full test yet. When I start to get erect, the ring pulls on my balls from behind. Would a longer or shorter cage help? What about a straight cage (not curved down)? What that reduce the tugging a bit?
