I hadn't noticed the view counters but the site is definitely slower than normal, no question.

A ping averages about 30 ms, but even
Google is slow currently with 20 ms.
If you run a traceroute, you‘ll see that the „internet
Backbone-servers“ are lagging.
Probably some heavy DDOS hacking activity slowing
Down parts of the net, as this is not only happeing here.

I have also been having s-l-o-w-n-e-s-s issues here in central NC.
