Sand will get into the turn key and then you will be permanently locks. I went to the beach a few years ago. I wore my cage to the beach. I used oil lubricant every night to clean the turn key. By the 3rd day, lock was toast.

Last couple of days of holiday.
Been a fantastic time. Relaxing but done a lot too.
Lovely place. Won't want to leave.

Back in England.
Back home.

It was a great holiday. Lots of sun, swimming in the sea, long walks, good food, wine, beer, and all totally relaxing. Just what we both needed really. Now we have today at home with no plans other than unpack, get the laundry done, and adjust to normal life at home again. I'll be back at work tomorrow.

Just to confirm there was no unlocking apart from the general clean half way through the holiday. A frustrating fortnight especially with applying all that sun cream to Miss Emmie and washing it off at the end of the day, not to mention all the sex she demanded of me. But, there were no issues with sand getting in the lock or triggering any alarms at the airport, which to be honest, is something of a relief.

I don't have any idea of what to expect next. Nothing has been said. I am still locked in the Cobra for now. More when there's more to share...

Good to hear that you both enjoyed it.
I myself have never had any problems with sand and the lock. Rather that sand was between the ring and the cage.
But rinsing it once in the water and drying it well solved the problem.

Plenty of rinsing and a hot soapy shower at the end of any beach days dealt with all the sand as you say, Waki.

The showers were a nice feature of the whole holiday in fact, when Miss Emmie would ask me to "help her wash the sun cream off" but in reality it wasn't a case of "helping" at all. Instead I did all the washing of her whole body while she just stood there doing nothing under the flowing water. Not complaining, of course.

Up early and first day back at work. It had to happen but I would rather had stayed in bed this morning. At least it's only 2 days and then the weekend.

Last night was an unlocking for another thorough clean and then a surprise edging. “For being patient and good” I was told. Then I was handed the freshly washed Cobra and told to “lock it back up”.

I had noticed Miss Emmie's words on her post yesterday, “I'm thinking at least another month” and I suspect that she's not joking. I've also seen her words on my journal about expecting the average to be “kept under tight control” so I think I'll be wearing this Cobra for a while yet. Already 5+ weeks since I came but I think it will be at least June before the next time. Luckily the Cobra is nice and comfortable.

Ah well, breakfast and then I'll be getting my day under way...
