I am currently not wearing my CB due to irritation where the ring is, even when using the largest one. However, I over did it when I got is spending all of my waking hours with it on. This time I will do it a little at a time and see if that helps. It also can be a reaction to the new silicon based lube I started using. I have to experiment but I too felt that ridge in the middle of the ring and was thinking about sanding it down with a very fine sandpaper.

Yes, it's that groove in the ring that will cause all the pain. It's the biggest problem with the Chinese version of the CB series, in my opinion.

There are many posts on how to deal with that, I filled mine with silicone (not the best fix). I finally ordered the parts I needed from "kept for her" and built a CB6000s from them. Unfortunately, the parts don't interchange between the "real" CB and the "fake" one.

I got tired of working on it, the base ring would break after about 2 months, and ordered a Queens Keep from Mature Metal. The good thing about the CB series is I used it to help get the size right for the QK.
