During the previous [18 month] session, I was in the middle ring for a long time, then moved to the next size down. This time I started in the next to smallest, though I'm not sure if that was the right thing to do since thickness of the epoxy used to repair the cracked hinge area may have reduced the size by a couple of millimeters. I find that I am being awakened 2-3 times during the night. The first 2 times last night it there was a moderate 'friction burn' sensation, the last time there was no 'burning'- I was just so swollen that I was getting that 'ache' that seems to develop when the nuts are being squeezed, similar to the feeling one might experience from a weighted ball parachute. But, at least there is not the intense little point of red-hot fire that used to come from the irritation of the hinge rivet (old-style CB3k).

I don't know now that the smallest ring might not be doable at some point, I can get my middle finger all the way in when washing in the shower (I have long, skinny fingers). When this was new, the smallest ring was out of the question- after 3 days it was sheer torture (and not in a 'good' way). With a solid ring, who knows...although, looking at the numbers I'm not completely sure.

The next to smallest ring is 1 5/8" or 41.3mm, the smallest is 1 1/2" or 38mm. Maybe 40mm is the smallest I can go...or maybe not. I know that I absolutely cannot escape from the smallest ring- 'pulling out' was impossible no matter how much effort and lubricant I put into it. I may have to order a solid ring to find out, it will be a relatively cheap trial before moving to metal.

Like I've said in previous postings, I have sized my base ring down to the 1 5/8" verison and that seems to be a really good fit for me right now. The only thing is that when I first went to that size from the next size up, it felt pretty snug (understandable) and really seemed to anchor my device at night so I wasn't able to get completely erect and my balls still were still free to move around to some extent. Last night I found that my base ring had started the journey up the shaft when I went thru my usual nocturnal erection, and once again seemed to put sort of a strangle hold on my testacles. Nothing too painful, just slightly annoying, which is much better than it was with my old larger ring set-up but it appeared to me that I may want to try going with the smallest ring, the 1 1/2" one. Just to see if I could even get it on, I lubed myself up and made the attempt this morning. While I was able to get it on without too much problem, I did notice that I started to get erect in the process, which hasn't happened previously. I got the ring on, and the pins and tube, and was able to get the whole set-up secure....which took more effort due to my semi erectness. While it felt comfortable, I did keep checking on things every once in a while to look for discoloration, etc... The only thing I found was that my sack and the tip of my penis where it was poking thru the end of the tube a little (remember, I'm still semi-erect) appeared slightly darker than usual, nothing blue or otherwise, just a little darker. I took everything back off after about 45 minutes just to be sure. I think it's fine and will probably try it again, but wanted opinions. I'm also wondering if my semi-erectness could have been caused by the snugness of the ring, even though when I took it off I did have a little pre-cum at the end. It did feel great having the smaller ring on however...

You may find that you won't be able to eliminate the pulling completely during nocturnal erections, I just woke up from the same thing.

If you go to the smallest ring, and it is *too* small, you might have a different problem- severe bruising under the ring which can become extremely painful after a few days.

I have a really snug fitting JB when flaccid and I also experience some pulling during a nocturnal erection. Over time you just get use to it. I also have experienced some discoloration when this happens but once I'm relaxed everything goes back to normal.

I agree. When I use the 1 5/8" base ring its a snug fit when flaccid, but on occassion during nocturnal erections it would slide somewhat up the shaft. Although it wasn't all that uncomfortable, and actually if it did wake me (shich it didn't always do) it was more of a reminder that I was wearing a CD more than anything esle, so I didn't mind it at all. I was just a little bummed I guess that it would sometimes slide up instead of staying put, which in hindsite is probably not possible completely. I did try the next size down last night (the smallest 1 1/2" dia) and it seemed fine in the evening, no discoloration or anything but during the night it seemed that my balls/sack were enlarged somewhat. I checked everything out and it didn't appear that circulation was an issue, I had good color and warm skin temp, but the more I thought about it the more I figured I should probably take it off and see if everything went back to normal. As soon as I did, everything went back to it's normal size/shape, so I guess I was being a little paranoid. Its funny all the things you can think of in the middle of the night.... I'll give it another go soon since I never did get to experience a nocturnal erection while wearing this combination.
