Re: Comparison Formula
Hey Atone; When you were in high school did you say algebra was a waste of time? See, it did have a function in your life. Who would have thought it would be for chastity purposes?

Re: Comparison Formula
Maths is no place for the alphabet...but this is nothing more than multiplying fractions. The sort of thing you do to work out the length of a gear on a push bike.

Re: Comparison Formula
When I was in college I was a physics major so by default that made me a math minor. Only a couple of classes short of being a math major. I can handle the math. I just cannot figure out what the variables represent. I think I have it now though.Locked by LRC wrote:Hey Atone; When you were in high school did you say algebra was a waste of time? I like the concept of the formula but do think it needs to be tweaked a bit. For example, more ruined orgasms lowers the score. It would seem to me that ruined orgasms would increase the frustration level not reduce it.
The first half makes a lot of sense. For any given duration the score is inversely related to age. It probably isn't linear but the idea is sound. For any given age the score is directly related to duration. Again, probably not linear but certainly in the right direction. In my experience it ramps up pretty quick, slowly peaks, and then actually declines.
The second half needs a little work. I think it is trying to capture how much "teasing" is going on combined with physical denial.
I don't have accurate enough records to know for sure but based on pretty good guesses my score today is 690. If this should reflect frustration than it is way off. As my profile indicates, I am in chastity nirvana. If I get bored later I will try to go back and generate numbers for each week since my last orgasm. A graph of these scores over time might be interesting. The shape of the curve might tell a lot more than the numbers themselves.

I can't disagree with any of Atone's thoughts; it is a pretty simple tool.
I did think of putting 'edges' and 'KH orgasms' on the top of the second half added to 'days in chastity' but these figures are likely to be much larger and I'm not good enough at maths to predict where the curve will go or how reliable it will remain but by all means have a crack at it.

I wasn't trying to be critical (well, only in the positive sense) and I like the idea. Unfortunately it is hard to quantify and / or predict what is fundamentally (I think) an emotional response.

'Comparison is the thief of joy.'
However with the statistical multiplicity of the different way that we each keep score (including my own 'not keeping score') there really is no way of illustrating the joy of MC. However the suffering is fairly easy to capture.
The longer you are denied, the greater percentage of that denial you are locked up, the less relief you are given and the younger you are will all increase the number. The resulting figure means nothing by itself but at least provides a comparator on these basic components of the MC experience.
