Sorry for reviving an old thread. I have been looking at these cages, and noted the comment above about "brushed stainless steel" being a painted on finish. Couldn't let that go. Brushed stainless steel refers to the practice of finishing the metal with a wire brush/wheel, or more likely today, a wheel made out of something like a Scotchbrite pad. The finish is referred to as "brushed."

It's a very tempting cage, though I don't know that I would use the penis plug. I'd try it though at some point. I wouldn't be able to resist.

Seems odd that there's still no one on here with personal experience with this device.

Technically, the term refers to stainless steel that has a matte finish from wire wheels or rough buffing pads - the "brush" is usually a large abrasive disc. It's much less expensive than polishing to a smooth, shiny finish.

I would be very cautious about any "stainless steel" device that has been made in China, because quite a few of them have turned out to be chrome or nickel plated steel, or some cast alloy metal.

To me, this particular device looks pretty cool, but as others have mentioned, it's going to be a problem for long term wear. This is a display piece for weekend play.

I have tried this device and still own it. It is my preferred device at this time. ( I have tried bird locked original, bird locked neo and holy trainer). The different sizes of base ring are nice for newbies. After I found the ring that fit me best I had it welded shut because the hinge was a little uncomfortable. The urethral insert is exciting when I'm in the right mood. The screws can be torqued quit tight with the little screw driver. I think unscrewing them with needle nose pliers would be difficult and with a paper clip would be impossible. This is by far more secure then any of the other devices I have owned.

Two questions...

The gap looks to be rather large. How does that work for you? Too big? Can you pull out or pop a ball?

Do you use the penis plug? I've never use one. If so, how long can you keep it in and the cage on?

The gap works fine. It took me a few weeks to figure out which base ring to use. But since I have figured that out I have not popped a ball through. I have never tried to pull out. I probably could if I really wanted too but I think it would take some work. This device is the most secure that I have used. I have only worn it for 4 days straight but could probably go longer if my KH wanted. I do use the plug but not for long periods. I think the longest was about 6-8 hrs. It is intense. Sometimes that's a good feeling sometimes it's not.
