Interesting one.

About the hinge, I have a hinged ring (not the same as the one in your picture) and have never had any trouble with pinching or anything else.

I actually feel quite satisfied with the four that we've got now.

I really don't feel that we need to spend any more on new cages and after what Herbi said about the cons stacking up against the pros, those flat things don't really seem to make much sense for us.

All that said, I do like those that have a separate cage to complete enclose the balls to stop those being played with too...

I will admit that when I was out for a few days last week I suddenly realized how much I absentmindedly naturally touch myself. I guess all men are just that way. If you get the ball cage please keep us posted.

Herbs isn't going to be getting any chances to discover how much he touches himself though. No days out lined up.

I wonder how practical those ball cages are.
Are they awkward / uncomfortable, particularly for sleeping in? They do add a new dimension though, don't they?

I’ve read up on them a bit and the consensus seems to be that they are wildly impractical. But your (and Herbies) mileage may vary

I saw one pic where the gap between the cock cage and the ring was huge. Looked like you could have got a coconut through there. So much for trapping a pair of testicles.

I was more wondering about the extra weight. May as well just put a ball stretcher on.

Or a modification on an idea. Years ago mrs. G made me some cloth bags with a draw string. I put my whole package inside and cinch it closed. It helps to protect from sun and flying debris when I mow naked. Maybe you could come up with a chainmale cage that captivates everything in one tidy location.
