Counting Days, Setting Records

I've been in chastity off and on through the last several years with a laissez faire attitude; i.e., I'll have it on and then if I want to take off for a couple of days, no big deal, no real commitment. After reading so many of your posts, my partner and I-decided to make a "permanent" commitment to chastity. So I downloaded a day counter. I got to 30 days, and had to remove it for a full day to travel.

So here's my question. We're trying to go for a "personal best" of 90 days in continuous chastity (save for the regular and necessary cleaning). I'm wondering how you all count your days if the cage has to come off for a day or longer. Do you start the count over again? Or do you allow for the necessary removals when "life happens" and you miss a day or two? I'm back in the cage after getting back from my travels yesterday, but now I need a little advice on "keeping the count" or "zeroing out and starting over." Thanks.

Really up to you. You were traveling, did you cum or not. This really open ended. Do you count ruins?

My best was 58 days. But that was 58 days without a pussy cum. I had two ruins and lots of edges in the meantime. Currently about two weeks but I have neo’s pretty regularly anymore. To C S and I it’s about denial of orgasm. She is the kh and as owner of the penis so if she wants to unlock it and use it that is up to her. But I am locked back up afterwards. If going through the airport I have to relock after going through security. So basically I am locked 24/7 except when my kh decides to use her toy. For us its more about control than counting, and she has full control. The cage comes off or not when she decides, if its off then the honour system applies and I can only touch for peeing or hygiene reasons. In the early days I kept count and had targets but for the last year or so we both relaxed into it and counting days caged became very complex as we spent lots of time away where locking was not possible until the moment we got home again, at home I'm almost always caged.

However Os are very rare and again totally under her control. Last O was in August sometime and she shows no sign of relenting.

I can’t set a goal like that. If I know the cage isn’t coming off, if I know there’s no chance of an orgasm at whatever moment, it isn’t exciting for me, it’s just depressing. There needs to be a “it could happen at any moment” aspect, or I become withdrawn and defensive.

But I did count, when she was caging me, and for the cage, I always counted until I had an erection. When I had to be out for a doctor’s appointment, if I could get the cage off, get to and through the appointment, and back into the cage without having the pleasure of that glorious unrestrained erection, then I kept counting (although, probably with an asterisk). Or any other reason for taking the cage off.

Therefore, more than a short time out would have to reset the clock for me, personally. Waking up once with an erection would feel so good that it would be “cheating” on the concept of the cage and its purpose, and there would be no way for me to prevent that from happening.
