My first cage was chinese CB6000 knock-off from AliExpress.
Far too big, poor quality materials, ring has broken after a few days.
But it did not discouraged me, after a few trials and errors I found much better model.

Like many others, mine was also a CB6000, about 8-9 years ago. I had no inkling of the chastity lifestyle; I saw the CB while browsing for something new in the bondage toy realm. CB600# were pretty common on BDSM sites, which is one reason, IMO, so many people start with them.

We were enjoying the CB, though the limitations became apparent pretty quickly. After fairly short time of use, we had a very fortunate break, literally. One night I woke up and the CB felt odd, but I couldn’t place what it was. In the morning I quickly saw that it had split down the long seam. I went downstairs for coffee carrying the broken device and showed it to my wife. She replied “it seems like someone would make one that is safer and won’t break”. That had never occurred to us before that moment! So I started the search for chastity cages online….and fell right into the rabbit hole! She was very happy to learn of steel cages, and within a week we placed an order with Mature Metal.

I agree that this is why the CB6000 and similar are so often chosen as the first cage. Little is known (by newbies, and I was one of them), they are common on websites, and a few glowing words makes them sound perfect. But they're not. I hope you are getting better service out of your steel.
