Musings on the Jailbird vs. CB6000

This morning MyBride did a little teasing before the alarm clock forced us out of bed. As things stiffened and the Jailbird's steel cage contained my attempted erection, i remembered how the CB6000 used to feel and realized the sensations are quite different between the two devices.

In the CB6000 (not the s model, which might have fit a little better), the tip of my junk was rarely at the end of the tube, so when i swelled my junk usually got caught midway down the tube and then started to pull the basering away from my body. The basering, with its squared off edges, would cut into my scrotum creating a very uncomfortable burning sensation on the underside of my ball sack.

The Jailbird, on the other hand, is custom fitted so the tip of my junk is always at the end of the tube, and therefore i don't seem to swell as much since there is no place for things to go. Further, as i swell and it pulls away from my body, the rounded ring does not cut into me, and instead the sensation is a very mild version of being kicked in the nuts; more of that feeling one gets up in the gut. While that sensation is a little uncomfortable, it is far better than the burning sensation that at times had me crying for mercy.

Since receiving the Jailbird i had been battling "hot spots" (small sores and scratches in the area where the basering rides), and although there were no visible imperfections in the basering, wire brushing the basering with my dremel seems to have smoothed something out; the hot spots are gone and the device is now quite comfortable (that, or i'm just getting used to wearing it). In fact, the device is so comfortable that the main thing i now notice is how often i don't notice the device.

The "downside" is the reliability and comfort of the Jailbird means i'm now truly locked 24x7, i'm no longer released before going to work or for cleanings, and now that the key only comes out is for play is a huge change in mindset. My only wish is that we had moved to the Jailbird sooner.
