Hydrophobic coatings?

You've probably seen some of the ads by now, or some of the Youtube vids showing the stuff that you can do with this. I'm now wondering if this can be sprayed onto the inside of those closed style cages, like the CB6k to prevent some of the sweat and urine from sticking to the plastic and funking up the inside.

Any volunteers? Hell, I don't even know if this stuff is safe for skin contact.
