I have no personal experience but... I have read numerous places where the complaint about the chrome model is that it will flake off very fast, like in a couple of months. It's up to you but I would suggest you return it and receive what you ordered.

Hello world, first time, though I've been monitoring this site for a week or so. Today is my first day ever locked up! So far, so good. No problems, a little irritation that Aveeno took care of. We tried putting the cage on the other day and it was a no go, so this morning my wife used the sock method. Viola! We tried with the small spacer, as I am not long when soft (I'm a 'grower'? I guess), but I ended up using the next size up and it seems to be working better. No problems with the ring size. We plan on working up to a overnight by the end of next week. We shall see how it goes.
