So that's why I was put on the Earth! It all makes prefect sense now!

For anyone considering having a vasectomy be aware that they can go smoothly and still hurt. My balls ached every day for the first 5 years after they were cauterised. Naturally I had it thoroughly checked out including ultrasound examination and ended up being advised that 'it just takes some men that way' and to take painkillers when it gets bad. (FYI if you develop a lump that doesn't hurt, get it checked out straight away 'cos those are the ones that'll kill you)

From the MC perspective, I'm far more cavalier about the discolouration and discomfort I'll inflict on myself than before the op. As the lady said; WRT the important function of fertility they are now redundant - although I'm fully aware they have other valuable hormonal duties to perform.
