Not me. I have had plenty of pain from injuries because of a habit of doing risky things for fun and money. But, I have developed a rule that, for medical procedures, is basically 'knock me right out, I don't want to know anything'. This rule comes from an experience with an Army doctor (re)breaking bones in my foot and putting stainless steel rods in. All I got was a local, which was Novocaine. Novocaine does not work well on me.
The doc gave the injection, but after waiting for a bit I could still feel when he poked me to test and he finally said "I don't have time to wait any longer, I'm going to start anyway." It was not fun, not fun at all, but an E-4 does not get to argue with an officer. Bonus: I didn't get any pain meds *after* the operation either. It was rather...intense...for a few days.
So, if there's a choice, knock me out, wake me up when it's over.
