I just finished reading them and all the comments and feel I have a better idea of what ruined orgasms are all about (there seems to be a debate as to what defines a ruined orgasm). Whether you call it ruined or abandoned I dont think is super important.

This typically results in a 'retrograde ejaculation'. If you are ejaculating, the semen has to go *somewhere*, and if your urethra is blocked it will go backwards (retrograde) into the bladder. AFAIK, this is not dangerous, although on at least one occasion this occurred to me when my wife was on top and moving so vigorously that I got 'bent' just at the moment of a powerful ejaculation and I felt a 'piercing' sort of pain. I don't recall that there were any problems with ejaculations subsequent to that event (it was a long time ago).

Ask yourself the question of where all the "energy" of the muscle contractions that cause the semen to be pumped out will go? When Mrs. Edge squeezes at the last second, it's essentially blocked, although it's also ruined because she stops the stimulation just before the peak.
Either way, I've never found any evidence that doing so will cause any damage.

A long time ago, before we started using chastity, I would always ask for permission to orgasm. It was almost always granted but sometimes not right when I would ask. I remember a few times where I would hold back for so long that once I was given permission I would have a rather unsatisfactory orgasm. It was actually more like the opposite of what we are describing as a ruined orgasm. It had all the let down without any of the pleasure. It didn't leave me ramped up like a ruined orgasm but it didn't relieve me either. Part of it could be the mindset at the time too.
